Fireworks, Bears and Smiles

Doug, Ash and Julia went to Whistler for our second babymoon.

Ashley discovered Canada has an "Independence Day" of their own, called "Canada Day" on July 1st.  Perfect timing for a vacation.
The Royal Newlyweds were also celebrating in Canada and the McRib had returned.
Stopped at a park along the Sea to Sky Highway.

Scoping out the village, looking for dinner.

Success! Everyone ate at earls.

The hotel pool was the perfect spot to watch Whistler's Canada Day fireworks
Oh, Canada...

Point and laugh
Silly Doug put away the camera before the fireworks "grand" finale so we didn't catch the one big firework going off.

Hot sun, pool time

Jules liked the pool.

Yes, that's a bear in the middle of downhill mountain bike park.

Julia is all smiles in the morning

Whistler is fun, even with occasional rain.

Doug rode a cross-country mountain bike and
met the girls for a picnic lunch by the lake.

Jules looks nervous about our Sushi hunt in Whistler Village

We picked up Luna at Camp Nicole where we enjoyed a Fourth of July BBQ with Nicole, Jess, Susan, Kelly and other friends.

Then went home to watch big fireworks on the TV
Happy 4th of July!
